I found some of these people—or just something they once did, wrote or (in my eyes) stood for—especially inspiring, funny, refreshingly honest or remarkably powerful— or perhaps they were just cool to talk or listen to. Others might merely evoke memories, and I can be a sucker for melancholy.
There are more reasons than names… but you get the idea.
Certainly those listed are not nearly all of the numerous M.U.G.E.N-related persons who ever somehow touched me since 2001—rather, most here go years back, when everything was still new to me, and magic.

For Sion and ShinDIO, and Rabite, who was not here.
For Valodim and Roken, Winane, and the letter [E].
Sometimes even for ShoShingo, king of funk.
For HyperionX, Bia, Caddie.
And JJWE, for not sucking like me.
My favorite character of all time is still E-Terry 71113 by Sander, [E] and Kaddet—and I liked Byakko's Another Kyô a lot.
OrochiKOF97 ended up remaking KOF characters the way I was trying to do SF chars.
